For Kids Only, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) group of children ages 8 thru 18 years old.

Their mission is: "Children Teaching Children by Positive Peer Influence Through Musical Entertainment."

Our way of accomplishing this goal, is by writing all original music for the group to perform for other kids. Each song addresses common problems and situations kids have during these years.

FKO is based in Holiday, Florida in the Tampa Bay area and have worked with many local and national civic and non-profit groups.

FKO performs an hour and a half theatrical stage show, with all original songs. Our target audience is third to sixth grade elementary school kids, who are just coming into contact with the situations that children face today. These songs focus on many of these issues, such as: friendships, family relations, sharing, happiness, teen suicide and illness, school attendance, and anti violence. With titles.such as "The Liberty Song", "Friends", "Stay in school cause school is cool", "With our faith we can heal the world", "Put your best face on", "Please Make It Go Away", "Show Me Love" etc.

These songs have very thought-provoking lyrics and melodies. We hope that by having kids communicating with kids, they acquire the ability to choose what future course their lives will take.

After the events of September 11th, the kids of FKO wanted to do something positive. The result was the recording of our song "Light a candle for the child" which was released October 27th on CD. All profits from the CD go into the Light a Candle Medical and Educational Scholarship Fund. While the original goal was to assist children whose parents were killed or injured in the direct attacks, FKO also believes that the songs should be used for all children, across our land, victimized by terrorism.

FKO History

1985 - Research & development began.

12/11/98 - 501(c)(3) status granted.

3/20/99 - First public performance at Week of the Young Child Children's Day at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida.

10/00 - Started production of a monthly Public Access TV program on Time Warner Channel 96 in Pinellas County, Florida.

09/01 - Created the For Kids Only Medical and Scholarship Fund to benefit the children of survivors of the Sept. 11th disasters.

09/01 - Completed recording for "Light a Candle for the Child" to raise funds for the FKO Medical and Scholarship Fund.
